Like The Keel table, The Panther’s translucent dye maintains the visibility of the wood grain beneath the clear lacquer, giving beautiful depth and lustre to the finish. The edges of the top subtly change their angles as you pass around it, leaning one direction then the next, and varying their reflection of the light. The top profile is inspired by an Isamu Noguchi 2D, sheet-metal sculpture, bringing life with its asymmetry to spaces more often regular.

Please note: constructed using large pieces of solid, kiln-dried timber, The Panther table top can be subject to very thin hairline cracks as it adapts to new environments. Almost imperceivable, they are in no way detrimental to the tables structure or strength and only add a pleasing intrigue to its polished finish.
